Paramedic Program Director/Instructor

Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred and a minimum of
three years of related paramedic industry work experience or an
equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work
required in paramedic teaching. Required certificates and licenses:
Licensed SD Paramedic, both National and SD EMT certificates, certified
in ACLS and PALS, drivers license.
The Paramedic Instructor has the responsibility for planning, formulating,
developing and implementing the curriculum and the promotion of the
Paramedic Program. To instruct students in the Paramedic Program and
keep current in the CAAHEP accreditation. The instructional program
occurs in a classroom and lab setting, and prepares students to work in
the paramedic field. The Instructor may also serve as the Program

175 Days (Academic Year)
