This position works collaboratively with and reports to the Assistant Executive Director for Quality Improvement and Staff Development as the lead senior staff in planning the implementation of an electronic health information data and care coordination system to ensure full integration of our clientele and services into a Managed Care Organization. The person who holds this position will have a background in long term care or healthcare management or hospital administration with knowledge of public policy issues related to Medicaid and Medicare and with experience in the implementation of electronic health systems. Requires a Bachelors degree in nursing, health administration, information technology, public administration, business administration, or social work. Masters degree preferred. Strong experiences in project management including but not limited to Workflow processes, Organizational requirements, Role requirements, System Utilization, User Experience, System Efficiency/Performance. Knowledge of electronic health data systems, technology, customization processes, and billing procedures. Strong problem-solving, analytic, communication (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
