Job Description:
Responsible for assigning beds for all incoming patients and in-house transfers. Collaborates with the WMC team members as needed to obtain all required information for appropriate patient placement. Monitors timeliness of bed assignments. Assesses the hospital's census demand and staffing at all times.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
One year experience in health related environment
Excellent oral and written communication sills, problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple complex situations simultaneously
Knowledge of basic computer keyboard functions
Data Entry Skills
Type 35-40 words per minute
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
