Hours: Ave. hours per two week pay period: 16 hrs per pay period

Job Description:

Assists in the provision of individualized nursing care based on the developmental levels of the patient under the direction of a registered nurse and in accordance with the standards of nursing care and practice as defined by the medical center and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.


Job Requirements:

 

Education Requirements: Be currently enrolled in a state accredited RN nursing program. Have successfully completed the first semester of clinicals, which includes nursing fundamentals. Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 or better to be considered and maintain a "C" or better in every class, each semester while in the Nurse Tech Program.

To be considered you must submit a "Student Nurse & Graduate Nurse Reference" recommendation print the form, give it to your instructor to complete and fax to the number on the form, 316-962-7931.

Current CPR card (Health Care Provider)

Work requirements:
Work sixteen (16) hours per pay period
Work one weekend shift (8 hrs) per month
Work two (2) holidays per year (one summer/winter, or as identified by unit need)
