Job Description:
Performs sonograms of different parts of the body, including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Cerebral, Vascular and small parts scans. Assists physicians in the detection of abnormalities and diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Applies knowledge of age related factors in the care, treatment, assessment and education of patients newborn through geriatric. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Job Requirements:
Graduation of an approved school of radiologic technology and/or graduation of an approved school of ultrasound required. RDMS certification preferred. Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or current registration with American Registry of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required.
