Job Description:
Performs the general inspection and repair duties to keep the physical plant in good repair. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a large variety of equipment and systems under the guidance of the Plant Operations Director. This work requires skills in a variety of trades.
Makes repairs to buildings, such as floor coverings, repairing sheetrock, wall coverings, installation and repair of door operators, painting and carpentry. General "handyman" skills preferred.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of tools and equipment related to maintenance repairs involved in facility and physical plant maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
General facility handyman experience
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•Prefer Several years’ maintenance experience in an industrial plant, building complex, hospital or vocational school graduation with experience in a related field.
• Knows blueprint reading and mechanical drawing.
