Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Description:
This position is responsible for:
1. Supporting field technicians by providing guidance to increase production and minimize lease operating expenses.
2. Reviewing previous completions and recommending work to enhance production.
3. Identifying, packaging, and implementing capital recompletions and payadds as well as expense workovers and P&A's.
4. Tracking and monitoring production volumes and lease operating expenses.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Position requires a minimum of five years experience in oil & gas industry in a related position and a BS degree in petroleum engineering or other related engineering discipline. Must have demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Access, Excel, and Word).
Preference given to candidates with:
- Coalbed Methane experience
- San Juan basin experience
- Artificial lift experience
- OGRE software experience.
Position will be located in Tulsa but will require travel to the field of approximately 25%.
