Job Location: Houston, TX
Job Description:
Responsible for the design and construction of civil infrastructure associated with natural gas compressor stations and/or the design, routing, and permitting of natural gas pipelines. Interfacing and guiding company and contract drafting, purchasing, inspection, contracts, planning, and operations personnel. Responsibilities could include engineering design, scope development, cost estimating, development of equipment specifications, start-up, and commissioning of various natural gas compressor station expansion and rehabilitation projects. Develop documentation and studies if necessary for projects that require authorization from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Ability to manage projects designed internally and externally. Salary and grade commensurate with level of experience.

Critical skills include:
* Information gathering, risk assessment, analyzing alternative solutions and making decisions without all the answers
* The ability to perform multiple tasks
* The ability to organize, plan and present ideas, and concepts
* Knowledge of project scheduling and cost estimating/forecasting is desired
* Ability to adjust priorities as changes occur
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
Education/Experience:
BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 4 or more years of experience working as a Civil Engineer. Natural gas pipeline experience an asset.
