Description:
Must have at least 4 years of proven experience with the following:
- Software engineering/application development experience with object-oriented analysis and development.
- Full Life-cycle development experience in implementing client/server applications.
- Microsoft .NET 1.1, specifically C#
- ASP.NET and Web Services (including performance tuning and problem diagnosis)
- Relational Database Design and programming experience with SQL Server. Oracle 9i experience is a strong plus.
- Design and development of XML Web Services, including understanding of XML Schema, XPATH
- T-SQL (PL/SQL for Oracle a plus)
- Experience as a tech lead (or equivalent) on 2 or more products that went live, producing clear technical designs and evaluating others' quality.
Other Skills:
- XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) a plus
- Flash experience a plus
- Windows Sharepoint Services
- Smart Client Development (Windows Forms)
- Use of Enterprise Library, log4net, or equivalent in a production environment
- Must be extremely organized & motivated
- Must work with a sense of urgency
- Must have a passion for quality control
- Experience working with a project manager to formulate and use project plans and associated documents
Core Job Responsibilities:
1. Architect, design, develop, document, and support enterprise software solutions utilizing the Microsoft Development Framework and surrounding technologies.
2. Work closely with business clients to identify needs and solutions.
3. Serve as technical lead on products with 2-5 developers
4. Participate in Enterprise Architecture planning; provide guidance and direction as it pertains to technical architecture and ITS processes.
5. Actively support peer training and serve as a mentor to developers.
6. Must be willing to support critical applications after-hours and on weekends (on call with pager). This responsibility is rotated and shared.
