Job Summary:
Web Yoga has partnered with a Dayton Ohio company to find and qualify candidates for their Junior Mainframe Developer position. This person should have experience developing applications in Natural and knowledge of JCL. The candidate should have good analytical skills, excellent communication, be self motivated, a good team player and willing to support applications during off hours.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and support enterprise mainframe systems
- Work closely with business clients to identify needs and solutions.
- Must be willing to support critical applications after-hours and on weekends (on call with pager). This responsibility is rotated and shared.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred –
Preferred Skills
- Mainframe experience in Natural/ADABAS
- Knowledge in JCL
- Worked in fast paced team environment
- PL1 and Mark IV experience a plus.
- Must be extremely organized and motivated and work with a sense of urgency.
