Wilson College M.Ed. Director

Job Location: Chambersburg, PA

Summary:
Wilson College is seeking a full-time, twelve-month, Graduate Program Director. The anticipated date of employment is August, 2008.

The Director oversees the promotion, direction, and expansion of the Masters in Education Program. Responsibilities include developing enrollment; building cooperative endeavors with schools; recruiting, evaluating, and mentoring graduate faculty; teaching and advising graduate students; developing courses; coordinating course planning; and recruiting and evaluating potential graduate students.

Requirements are:
  • An earned Ed. D./Ph. D. in Curriculum and Instruction or closely related field.
  • A minimum of five years of K-6 teaching experience.
  • Successful teaching and administrative experiences in higher education, preferably full-time, and scholarly achievement.
  • Strong communication skills with a capacity to build relationships within and outside the college.
  • Commitment to teaching, scholarship and service.
