City BENTONVILLE State AR Employment Type Full Time Hourly/Salary SALARY Shift 0 Position Description Directs multiple compliance programs by serving as anti-money laundering compliance liaison for the company; managing department objective alignment to business needs and regulatory requirements; ensuring appropriate controls, resources and organizational support are in place to identify, assess and mitigate emerging risks; identifying industry trends; overseeing regulatory audits and examinations to minimize impact on business operations; negotiating agreements for third party compliance reviews, consulting engagements, and technology development initiatives; and communicating goals, direction and expectations of high compliance standards to suppliers and service providers. Responsible for internal governance by maintaining global standards and governance for anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing and sanctions programs; ensures timely and adequate executive leadership visibility into risks across global enterprise; directing global initiatives specific to anti-money laundering around intelligence gathering, global tool development, market integration strategies; supporting international compliance in market compliance initiatives within the area of subject matter expertise; providing guidance to market executive leadership on risks, compliance program development, best practices; and consulting on acquisition due diligence initiatives. Drives business growth and reduction in barriers by providing subject matter expertise on regulatory compliance risks and regulatory influence; benchmarking and communicating with senior leaders of government agencies and industries; leading industry or government groups to directly influence industry and regulatory compliance practices; driving costs out of compliance through strategies designed to promote technology and operational enhancements; directing execution of compliance activities in the home office and the field; influencing business-supplier relationships to improve compliance, reduce cost of compliance; and directing efforts designed to position the compliance programs as best in class. Provides overall direction for the the department by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer-focused environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting Associate efforts in these areas. Minimum Qualifications - 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Law, Criminal Justice or related field and 6 years experience in compliance, financial services or related field OR 8 years experience in compliance, financial services or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications - Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.
- Law degree.
- Master`s degree in Business Administration.
