City BENTONVILLE State AR Employment Type Full Time Hourly/Salary SALARY Shift 0 Position Description The Advanced System Engineer will work as a member of the Walmart Information Systems Division (ISD) Security & Compliance Division. This position will be an examiner with the ISD Security Forensic Services Team. The Forensic Services team provides support to investigations, business continuity, advanced data recovery, and other technical services. The position requires use of numerous computer forensic tools, network & IT tools, and other systems related to digital evidence and forensic analysis. The Forensic Services team supports both domestic and international business partners. Applicants will be reviewed based on both computer forensic analysis background and/or other areas where applicant displays subject matter expertise as it relates to Information Technology systems. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in IT field. Should include but not be limited to one or more areas related to network security, networking support, TCP/IP related knowledge, database management, computer forensic analysis, network incident response, application development and other similar IT fields. Ability to troubleshoot and display sound judgment in problems solving technical issues. In depth knowledge of Windows operating system for workstations and server resources. (Includes multiple versions of Windows OS) Understanding of file system types and hard drive data structure. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally with short, but reasonable notice. (Majority of work conducted in lab through remote connections.) Ability to document technical procedures and findings in clear, concise reports and case management system. (Includes excellent verbal/written skills.) Ability to work with minimal supervision while displaying strong time management skills. Additional Preferred Qualifications Courtroom testimony experience related to computer forensics & network analysis. Training/Experience in physical/digital evidence handling & documentation consistent with courtroom best evidence rules and ASCLD/LAB requirements. Work in network intrusion investigations & incident response. Previous experience & work with ASCLD/LAB procedures and policies. Certification in computer forensic tools & process including but not limited to CFCE, CFE, EnCE, ACE, GCFE, GFA, etc. Familiarity with installation, repair and troubleshooting of computer hardware for desktop computers, laptops and servers. Familiarity with programming languages including but not limited to C++, Python and EnScripts. Training/Experience with eDiscovery methodology and industry best practices. Training/Experience with mobile device forensics. Training/Experience with video enhancement and analysis. CISSP & other related certifications. Training with PCI/SOX compliance/reporting process. Training/Experience with firewall rules & filtering, intrusion detection/prevention devices, or penetration testing for networks and stand alone devices. Training/Experience with computer facilitated crimes in government and/or private sector fields. Training/Experience with network infrastructure/architecture security. Req ID 189184BR
