Position Description - Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Information Systems Division (ISD) infrastructure and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
- Develops and implements network designs that have high availability and scalability consistent with Company needs
- Develops relationships with key business partners and Customers
- Develops the technical and business knowledge of team members
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Oversees enhancements and changes to the network environment
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
- Provides project management for small to large projects
- Provides support for network infrastructure problems
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field AND 4 years experience in IT Security, Network Engineering, or related field; OR 6 years experience in IT Security, Network Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experience working in large enterprise network environments.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- 1) Experience with network security technologies (Firewall, IPS, WIPS, VPN, etc)
- 2) Experience with web and email security technologies (forward/reverse proxy, anti-spam, etc)
- 3) Experience with other network devices (routers, switches, APs, etc)
- 4) Experience performing and analyzing network packet captures.
- 5) Experience working on Walmart network designs and devices.
- 6) Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, etc.
- 7) Experience with regulatory compliance (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, etc)
