Position Description The Realty Appraisal team is responsible for the valuation Walmart`s real estate assets and the team`s opinions are used in making decisions regarding these assets. This includes decisions regarding excess property, new store acquisitions, eminent domain, in-store leasing, asset management, real estate tax, litigation and other appraisal-related projects. Customers include Real Estate (including U.S. Real Estate Committee), Realty Disposition (including Walmart Realty Deal Committee and RE Finance Committee), Realty Management, Consumer Services, Real Estate Tax and Real Estate Accounting.
Minimum Qualifications 5 years commercial real estate appraisal experience.
State certification or license as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser.
Additional Preferred Qualifications Bachelor`s degree in Real Estate, Finance, General Business or related field.
Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI designation).
