Position Description
- Completes work assignments and priorities in Workers` Compensation Case Management area for routine cases
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Contributes to the management of monetary aspects of assigned claims
- Devotes time to learning
- Follows good faith claims practices
- Prepares and shares relevant information with involved parties (for example, store associates, store management, attorneys) to keep claims processing efficient and timely while maintaining Walmart`s reputation
- Processes associate workers` compensation cases involving minor injuries (for example, abrasions, contusions, mild strains) with minimal lost time and medical-only claims under direct supervision from team leaders
- Works toward obtaining state license(s)
Minimum Qualifications Must be able to meet minimum typing skill of 30 wpm
Proficient with MS Office applications
Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrated critical thinking and decision making skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year experience in any legal-related field.
- 1 year experience in any medical-related field.
- 1 year experience working in a Walmart store.
- 1 year general customer service experience.
- 1 year insurance industry or claims experience.
- Insurance adjuster license.
