Position Description

• Conducts case reviews of the sexual and/or violent offenders review process (SVOP) petitions
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Determines the security risk associated with internal and external candidates according to state regulations
• Manages the criminal background check (CBC) process for internal and external candidates
• Minimizes risk to company operations and associate safety
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Represents company`s interests in litigated and non-litigated matters related to criminal background checks (CBCs) and the sexual and/or violent offenders review process (SVOP)
• Supports company investigations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree in analytical studies, international studies, human geography, history, criminal justice, political science, or related field and 2 years investigative experience in casework/management, auditing, security, or related field OR 4 years investigative experience in casework/management, auditing, security, or related field.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in program administration; including program execution and working with vendors.
• 1 year experience in risk analysis and assessment.
• 2 years Walmart experience in risk management or related field.
• SPHR, PHR, or Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI).
