Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Trade school or university program certificate required along with a minimum of 10-years proven experience in a mold making environment required. Must be proficient with Manual & CNC controlled machining equipment. Must be proficient with machining hand tools & measuring equipment. Must be proficient with CAD software, Solid Works preferred.
Summary:
Designs, manufactures, repairs molds, dies, fixturing to customers part specifications for rubber compression, transfer, injection molding and rubber extrusion. We are a drug, tobacco and smoke-free workplace.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Designs new models, mechanisms, and adaptations for molding or extruding rubber thermoset compounds. Design and build prototype molds. Analyses and executes alterations to designs for improved performance or to meet customer requirements. Repairs defects and damage to existing molds, dies, fixtures. Reassembles molds after repairing.
Pay:
$14-20/HR (Depends On Experience)
