Account Manager - Technical Sales
Job Location: Pinellas County, FL
Qualifications:
Must have 3+ years experience in Inside Sales. Experience in Water Treatment, Swimming Pools, Animal Health, or Horticulture a plus. Team spirit and verbal communication skills. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & ability to multi-task.
Job Description:
Services existing accounts providing pricing, delivery and technical support to increase account growth. Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations. Closes new accounts by calling, answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information. Fills sales orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs. Develops accounts by checking customers buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
Pay:
The pay structure for the Account Manager position is a base salary of $12 per hour plus a commission which is a percentage of gross revenues.
