QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a B.S. in statistics, mathematics, physical science discipline or engineering discipline. If degree is not in statistics, must have an academic background in statistics, beyond an introductory or overview class. Prefer minimum of 2 years experience performing statistical analyses of scientific and/or engineering data in real-world situations. Experience with S-Plus or equivalent statistical software.
Ability to prepare high-quality customer presentations using PowerPoint. Candidate must have verbal and technical writing skills. Presentations and reports will be a required output. DOD secret clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Statistical analyst will perform statistical analyses of engineering, operational and production data from Air Force inertial guidance instruments. Effort includes participating in all phases of analysis including data collection, data validation, analysis strategies, analysis methods and communication of results. The analyst will deliver written reports and presentations with the results and interpretations of those analyses. The customers of these products will be technical managers, chief engineers/scientists and officers up to the rank of colonel. The employee will work as an integral team member with scientists and engineers from the Air Force, customers, independent consultants and other Honeywell employees and thus must have sound technical abilities and teamwork skills.
PAY:
$55 – 96,000/YEAR
