Production Workers: various positions (1st & 2nd shifts)

Job Description:
Job Qualification: Employer will be at the 49th Street One Stop located at 4140 49th Street North, Saint Petersburg, FL this Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 from 9am-11am interviewing for immediate openings in Production, Manufacturing, Assembly, Warehouse, and more!!
LOCATION: Tampa FL. 3-Positions available.
(1) Mechanical Assembler (1st shift) – Hours & Salary : 8am-4:30pm, $14-$15 per hour.
EDUCATION, DEGREE(S), OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines, language skills & ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds. Must be able to use repetitive motions, bend, stand and walk frequently. Must be able to read blueprints. Experience with Hand tools and power tools are a must (i.e. routers, grinders, wrenches, saws, tape measures). They use a lot of pneumatic tools to build packaging machines so experience with air tools is a plus but it is not required. AAR and Dynamet formers would be great for this position. Also people with high mechanical aptitude would fit out there like low level maintenance techs.
(2) Assembler (2nd shift) – Hours & Salary : 4pm-12am, $9.02 per hour.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job related certifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. Performs basic, standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies or subassemblies. -Preps and assembles manually inserted components per visual aids, upon verification of specs from visual aid. Ensures assemblies and components are properly handled and marked. Accurately maintains daily logs; monitors and restocks parts bins as required. -Utilized bar code scanner and small hand tools. -Visually inspects parts for proper insertion and placement. Works under direct, close supervision of manufacturing supervisor, or in his/her absence, from Group Leader, or other management so assigned. Follows detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids. Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
(3) QC Inspector (1st shift) – Hours & Salary : 7am-5:30pm, $12-$14 per hour.
Job Function: Quality Control/Assurance Inspector. Must have a High School Diploma, 2-years minimum manufacturing and/or quality control experience, preferably in an AS9100 or ISO certified manufacturing company. Working knowledge of basics of measurement equipment calibration controls and basics of control of nonconforming materials, computer applications; Word, Excel, and Access, and basic math, and physical abilities to include lifting of 20 – 50 lbs. Must be able to read/interpret blue prints.
DESCRIPTION: DUTIES: Perform audits on incoming material using hand gauging and visual techniques to determine conformance to blueprint specifications. Contain non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies. Rectify non-conforming material by rework and sorting. Determine the method and process needed to measure blueprint conformance on parts according to tolerances and normal gage practices. Document and report non-conformance to specifications in computerized quality documentation system.

Pay:
Up to $15 p/hr
