Qualifications:
Applicant must be able to meet the following minimum qualifications: Possess a valid Florida CDL Class A or B with P endorsement and air brakes. Possess or capable of passing a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening. Maintain an acceptable driving record verified through semi-annual motor vehicle record checks. U.S. Citizen or permanent visa and be at least 25 years in age. Must be able read and speak English fluently. Must have no conviction of a felony or certain misdemeanors verified through fingerprinting and FBI background check. Willing and able to work various shifts. Willing and able to work with diverse individuals. Willing to conform to company dress and grooming code. Posses, or capable of acquiring, a cell phone and share number with fellow employees and/or customers as job demand requires
Prior commercial bus or heavy vehicle driving experience, usually 2 years.
Description:
1. collect payment.
2. maintain records, reports, or files.
3. move or lift heavy objects.
4. use two-way radio or mobile phone.
5. load/unload passenger luggage or cargo
6. examine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed.
7. maintain or repair cargo or passenger vehicle.
8. service vehicle with water, fuel, or oil
9. use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment.
10. operate highway passenger vehicles
11. use established traffic or transportation procedures.
12. follow traffic laws
13. monitor variables affecting route activities.
14. perform safety inspections in transportation setting.
15. provide customer service in surface transportation
16. transport passengers or cargo.
17. use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportation
Pay:
$10.25 per/hr plus tips.
