Job Description:
The World Company, a fast-paced, multi-media organization, has an immediate opening for an Account Executive to sell advertising for our Sunflower Publishing magazines, including Manhattan Magazine, and other publications in Manhattan and surrounding communities. We are looking for highly a motivated sales consultant to manage current accounts, develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with our customers.
Ideal candidate will have bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field or equivalent years of sales experience; minimum one year outside sales and/or advertising experience; prior cold calling experience; media sales experience helpful; strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines; self motivated and able to work independently; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and proficient in MS Office.
