Job Description
Clinical Education Specialist Opportunity
In Beautiful York, PA
About the Position
Under general supervision, coordinates the education process for a variety of programs and target audiences, including assessing educational needs, planning, developing and implementing appropriate education and training, and evaluating education outcomes.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
- Coordinates the education process (clinical and non-clinical) for a defined target audience of System staff including assessing educational needs, planning, developing and delivering appropriate education and training, and evaluating education outcomes.
- Functions as an educational consultant to departments, service lines or entities for System-wide or entity-wide initiatives requiring education and training.
- Contributes to the enhancement of organizational, team and individual performance through the appropriate and measurable evaluation of education interventions.
- Facilitates the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of System-wide education programs.
- Coordinates the use of appropriate education resources for identified education needs, including the development of self-learning/computer-based training.
- Provides consultation services throughout the System regarding education/training.
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of competencies for positions within the System.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and written skills
- RN license
- Master’s Degree
- 5 – 8 years of clinical experience

Required Skills
Registration and current RN license in PA; Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree (preferred)
Required Experience
Ambulatory/Physician Office experience preferred, Fulltime/Day with ability to work flexible hours when necessary. Position involves travel throughout the Medical Group service area (currently York & Adams County)
