Clinical Supervisor-Physical Therapy Opportunity Rehabilitation Medicine
About the Position
Assists with managing the daily clinical operations of the assigned clinical setting. Facilitates program development and provides physical therapy services. Coordinates the daily activities for Queensgate office. Some travel may be required.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
- Ensures the delivery of quality physical therapy services for inpatients and outpatients by identifying patient needs and developing quality physical therapy programs.
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of physical therapists in carrying out treatment programs for patients.
- Analyzes and recommends changes for improvement in program content.
- Assists in formulating and screening Quality Assurance criteria and providing in-service training for staff.
- Consults with medical, nursing and administrative staff on a regular basis to coordinate patient care.
- Directs and develops approved procedures for physical therapy.
- Assigns patients to staff therapists and reviews patient's progress to ensure that the highest quality of patient care is being provided.
- Assesses patient needs for physical therapy in a timely fashion; completes initial evaluation.
- Develops treatment plans for patients. Monitors progress and treatment level.
Qualifications
- Able to work well in a team environment as a member/leader
- Physical Therapist license
- Excellent interpersonal/communications skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior supervisory experience
