Job Description
General Summary:
Under general supervision, manages clinical, business office and other administrative functions of 2 ambulatory sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are essential job accountabilities:
1 Coordinates and integrates services within the department/service line/entity, with other departments/service lines/entities, and with the System`s primary functions. Participates in the selection of outside services, if needed.
2 Continuously assesses and improves the department/service line/entity/System`s performance. Maintains appropriate quality control/assessment programs (if applicable).
3 Actively utilizes improvement strategies/tools to positively impact all aspects of operations.
4 In cooperation with departmental/services line leadership, manages all on-site activities in such a way that promotes the satisfaction and welfare of the patients visiting the site.
5 Facilitates the purchasing of supplies, pharmaceuticals and office goods by working collaboratively with materials management. Assists in selection of outside services; resolves issues related to services provided by outside vendors.
6 Works in partnership with lead physician to solve problems, resolves conflicts, enhance operations, quality and safety.
7 Communicates operational issues to level of organization required to obtain timely and effective resolution.
8 Promotes reporting of events and tracks trends to identify potential improvement opportunities.
9 Establishes service recovery protocols; trains and empowers staff to address patient concerns; assures all patient issues are appropriately addressed.

Required Skills - Proven managerial skills
- Excellent human relations skills
- Good oral/written communication skills
Required Experience - 2-3 years practice management experience preferred
- Budget preparation, finance control, and employee supervision experience required
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
