•Work on state audit cases for large a corporation and its subsidiaries •Work with state audit officials, the business leaders and other tax professionals to: oDevelop state audit strategies oGather required information oEnsure state tax audits operate effectively •Co-ordinate with state tax manager to ensure all economic and financial implications of audit strategies are considered during the development, implementation, and close phases
Great Opportunity:
You will be working closely with an experience state tax manager and will be a key contributor and spokesperson for the company on state tax controversy matters. Tax department has history of rewarding for work performed.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in state tax related matters Strong attention to detail Understanding of state tax provision Ability to perform technical research and writing skills to achieve positive results Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Big 4 Accounting, law firm or large corporation experience 1+ tax controversy experience 2+ years of state income tax experience JD or Masters in Taxation CPA designation Masters or LL.M. in Taxation
