Our client is a growing privately held manufacturer/distributor located in Massachusetts. They are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to be a partner for the non-technology groups to assist them in the definition, documentation, training, maintenance and enhancement of complex ERP business applications. This candidate will provide business requirements and process improvement analysis, user training and systems implementation and integration expertise in support of the Company’s overall business requirements. This candidate will bring a background which includes a combination of programming, analysis and some with the ability to train non technical staff. The candidate will be responsible for the following: Job Responsibilities ?Learn and demonstrate working knowledge of the Company’s operations and systems ?Identify user training requirements and develop easy to use training material and provide hands-on training ?Perform business process improvements assessments and identify and implement solutions ?Act as main point of contact between the users and the various ERP software providers ?Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all system user groups ?Identify and define IT projects related to specific applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness. ?Perform feasibility studies that culminate in business proposals including alternate approaches, cost, benefits, resource requirements, task dependencies and timing ?Evaluates application software packages and makes recommendations for management ?Manage project status reporting and conducts user/team status meetings ?Develop and streamline system generated reports ?Monitor and analyze data to verify data integrity ?Identify ways that the system can be adapted to improve efficiency of business processes Job Qualifications ?6+ years direct experience supporting and administering mid-sized transactional systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment. ?Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present and explain technical information to a non-technical audience. ?IT applications implementation experience ?Strong understanding of the workflow behind the distribution cycle of a mid-sized company ?Well versed in enterprise application software, databases and user support ?Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills ?Strong skills using Microsoft Windows and Office Suite of Applications ?Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of employees ?Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities ?Bachelors’ degree ?Flexible attitude, willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours as needed ?Experience with Prelude system is ideal ?Experience with network administration, hardware, or desktop support would be helpful Our client offers a strong compensation package and terrific benefits package that includes health, dental, life and disability insurance, an excellent 401(k) with company match and a generous vacation policy.
