Coordinate and review monthly close work papers for various entities ranging from management companies, private equity funds, and partnerships. Review of the monthly close consists of reviewing account reconciliations, expenses, and the allocation of income and/or fees in accordance with fund documents/agreements. Analyze the monthly financial statements. Possibility of assisting external auditors with interim and year-end procedures and the preparation/review of audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Potential to work on hedge funds a well. Ad-hoc special projects and reports on an as-needed basis. Supervise staff of three professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:
As least 5-8 years of accounting experience, with some as a supervisor Must possess a 4 yr degree in Accounting Public accounting experience and CPA a PLUS Must have strong Excel skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Experience in preparing reports for Sr management Hedge fund and/or Family Office experience a PLUS
