Senior Tax Accountant Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred. Experience: 2-4 years of strong tax experience in consumer products, retail, wholesale, manufacturing environment- Big 4 or larger multinational CPA firm- client base with revenues over $500 mil Reports to Tax Managers, Domestic and International. Duties and responsibilities to include: Strong Tax Accounting skills- assistance on FASB 109 preparation, FIN 48 preparation, financial statement footnotes, including quarterly, and annual financial statement footnotes, effective rate analysis Tax compliance; Assistance in the Preparation of Domestic federal 1120 S tax return, state and local income tax return preparation including state composite filings, assistance on quarterly estimated state tax payments. Assistance on various federal, state and local tax examinations as needed. Strong tax accounting skills needed. Opportunity to learn US international tax compliance to include preparation of forms 5471, 8858, 8865 partnership returns, analysis and identification of US international tax issues. Assistance on budgeting and forecasting models for current year and future income taxes. Assistance on Tax Department budgeting and forecasting of professional Opportunity to learn US international tax compliance to include preparation of forms 5471, 8858, partnership returns, identification of US international tax issues. Ability to think outside of the box of mechanical tax compliance. Skills: RIA Insource return software, excel, word, powerpoint, strong written and oral communication skills, interest calculators
