Salary: 100,000 to 125,000
Responsibilities Responsible for managing closing, forecasting, and budgeting for Corporate Income Statement; overseeing and analyzing Corporate allocations; preparing external auditors’ audit and quarterly review analyses; complying with Sarbanes-Oxley; supervising financial analysts; providing financial and accounting guidance to various departments; and assisting with special accounting projects and GAAP research for director. •Manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes for the income statement. oReviewing actual results for completeness, accuracy and proper classification. oVariance analysis and reporting. oIdentification, communication and tracking of risks and opportunities. •Manage the monthly estimate process for the income statement. oChallenge assumptions for reasonableness, including amount and timing. oProvide guidance to analysts. oIdentification, communication and tracking of risks and opportunities. oReporting to management in a timely manner. •Manage the preliminary and final budget processes. oDevelop timeline and manage work of the team to ensure deadlines are met. oOversee and review departmental budgets. Analyze for accuracy and reasonableness. oOversee and analyze fringe allocations. Develop and/or review medical/dental, pension and workers’ compensation allocations. Analyze and understand variances. Report and communicate findings to management and divisions. oOversee and analyze all corporate allocations. Develop and/or review Corporate General, Field Operations, Warehouse & Distribution, Advertising and Global Supply Chain allocations. Analyze and understand variances. Report and communicate findings to management and divisions oPrepare budget package and participate in review meetings with senior management. •Supervise several Financial Analysts (including one Senior) and perform review of work prepared by the Financial Analysts, including: - Analysis and financial support for several corporate departments including Human Resources and advertising - Various balance sheet accounts, including severance, medical liability, goodwill and others. - Intercompany confirmations between international and national offices. - Various other items as needed or assigned. •Prepare all audit and quarterly review analyses for the income statement for submission to the external auditors. •Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Work with Internal Audit to update narratives when processes change. •Provide financial and accounting guidance and support to various Corporate departments as needed. •Assist with special projects and GAAP research for Director of Accounting. •Train and develop associates. Evaluate staff performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications 6+ years Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Strong analytical skills required. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize as needed. Able to see the big picture while working with the details. Ability to quickly learn systems such as Lawson and Hyperion. Prior supervisory experience a plus. CPA desired.
