PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES •Manage and review consolidated sales/use tax return filings in over 40 states and/or oversee an outsource provider. •Oversee application of tax system software, tax return software, reports, and tax data retention. •Oversee functionality of sales/use tax application software with business enterprise systems. •Coordinate resolution of issues related to tax systems and business applications; troubleshoot tax process issues. •Participate in a strategic team effort to redesign sales and use tax accrual and reporting process for multiple business segments utilizing multiple software systems. •Perform and maintain the trend analysis of Sales and Use Tax spend across all legal entities. •Develop, train and manage staff of 3 to 4 tax analysts/senior analysts/supervisors. •Maintain good relationships with field and internal headquarters personnel to gather data necessary to keep work processes flowing; resolve customer sales and use tax disputes working with field personnel. •Analyze, recommend and implement solutions; may include utilizing software tools as well as outside consultants to address transaction tax processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS B.S. Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; CPA or CMI a plus 8+ Years multistate sales and use tax experience, preferably in manufacturing Supervisory experience with leadership skills including strong abilities to teach and coach Experience with large corporate financial systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, Indus Passport Experience with transaction tax software such as Vertex, Sabrix, CorpSales, Onesource Indirect Tax Experience in handling state and local tax audits effectively Detail oriented with strong analytical skills; also has the ability to look at the big picture Experienced in dealing with personnel at different levels of the organization, and internal and external auditors
