Job Description:
Coordinates patient nutritional care via clinical screening, assessment, education and documentation. Coordinates plans of care and nutritional goals by establishing measures, monitoring and follow-up routines based on established policy and clinical judgment. Serves as a nutrition expert and resource to personnel within the system. Assures evidence based medical nutrition therapy is provided for patients within the system.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition or Food Service with certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) as recognized by the American Dietetic Association, and Licensed Dietitian in State of SC, or eligible for Licensure in the state of SC within 30 days of hire required. CNSD, CDE and/or Board Certifications in Pediatrics, Renal, or Gerontology with 1-2 years clinical nutrition experience preferred
