Introduction
The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking a Application Systems Specialist.
Responsibilities
Develop, design, implement, and test signal/image/video processing and analysis algorithms.
Develop and design image/video processing algorithms addressing sponsor needs. Prototype and test algorithms in Matlab. Develop, verify, and validate implementations in C++ for deployment.
Qualifications
Required: Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. or Computer Science with exposure to signal/image/video processing/ analysis and computer vision coursework Very good command of:
-Matlab including toolboxes (signal, image, optimization)
OOP C++, Java
Desired: Experience in Machine Learning
Security
