Position Summary
The Business Analyst works closely with Information Technology Product Owners and other professionals throughout the Koch organizations. The Business Systems Analyst plays an important role within the organization reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs while acting as a liaison between the business and IT.
As well as identifying opportunities for improvement and automation of business processes, the Business Systems Analyst will also solicit accurate and complete business and functional requirements. The applicant should be well organized and able to prioritize, organize, and coordinate simultaneous tasks and projects while addressing customer needs. Other job duties include:
Design and document User Acceptance Test plans and scenarios.
Utilize technological trends to suggest technical solutions to enhance the competitive edge of the business.
Provide feedback to the business regarding end user training and product use issues.
Act as a business relationship manager responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation, and communication of business needs to the IT organization.
Requirements
* 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst.
* Familiarity with relational database and client server concepts.
* Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving ability.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Project Management experience preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Math or related field
