Job Location: Wichita, KS

A support position that manages the administrative
functions of the Communication team within Public
Affairs.
* Communication Management: create and execute a
methodology for receiving, tracking, and handling
communications from incoming phone calls, emails,
and personal visits. As requested, draft written
communications for editing.
* Responsible for ongoing data entry and management of
Vocus public relations software.
* Serve as primary back-up on news distribution.
* Create charts and systems for historic tracking of
key facts/data related to Koch Industries, Inc. and
Koch companies.
* Proactively seek out ways to improve systems,
eliminate waste and create added efficiencies.
* Time Management: manage and book appointments,
prepare material for daily meetings.
* Processing invoices / Company credit card
reconciliation
* Record retention/documentation responsibilities
* Relationship Management: build relationships with
key internal contacts to enable timely and effective
execution of tasks and appropriate representation of
the office. Build relationships with key external
contacts to assist team with execution of duties.
* Travel: manage and book travel arrangements to
create maximum profitable use of time.
* Special Project Management: assist with projects on
an as needed basis.
* 5 or more years previous experience as an
administrative or executive assistant.
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Sense of urgency which drives results
* Strong relationship skills
* Highly proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint
* Energetic and able to multi-task.
* Strong phone skills and etiquette
* Critical eye for detail
* Excellent written communication and proofreading
skills
* Calm and professional demeanor
* Self-directed and able to work independently.
* High level of personal integrity and confidentiality
* Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
Education Required:
* High School Diploma
Education Preferred:
* College Degree
