Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its subsidiaries own and invest in nitrogen fertilizer production and storage capacity in North America, Europe, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. The company's fertilizer interests manufacture, market and distribute more than 8 million metric tons of nitrogen products annually. Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. Koch Fertilizer Canada ULC, operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitoba which produces primarily anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminaling assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.
Position Summary
- Koch Fertilizer, LLC is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst who has the drive and ambition to succeed. As a team member of the Credit Group you will have primary responsibilities for:
- Review potential counterparty information (international and domestic) including financial statements and establish credit limits
- Complete quarterly and annual credit reviews
- Assist in negotiating letters of credit, guaranties or other forms of mitigation
- Monitor outstanding balances relative to credit lines
- Meet with selected counterparties periodically to help ensure recoverability of outstanding receivables
- Work with traders on credit contract language as needed
Requirements
- Strong financial analysis, research skills
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal & written)
- Good computer skills (Excel & Word)
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 2+ years Bank or Trade Credit experience or International Trading experience
Preferred
- 2+ years of experience in corporate or bank credit
- Knowledge of the agriculture/fertilizer industry
