Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its subsidiaries own and invest in nitrogen fertilizer production and storage capacity in North America, Europe, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. The company's fertilizer interests manufacture, market and distribute more than 8 million metric tons of nitrogen products annually. Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. Koch Fertilizer Canada ULC, operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitoba which produces primarily anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminaling assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.

Position Summary
Koch Nitrogen Company LLC is looking for a Urea Barge Trader to join our Wichita team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily urea barge trading position and PNL. In addition to managing external customer relationships and daily execution in the market, this role will also require:
• Developing a US urea Point of View (POV) and price call
• Developing and driving trading strategies
• Establishing long-term terminal strategies and positions
• Coordination and communication with the US sales and marketing team
• Work with the product line leaders to ensure the positions are in line with the global urea POV and strategy
Requirements
• Commodity trading background, qualification, and experience
• Ability to develop and execute a forward POV
• Market analysis background
• Communication skills / ability to be successful in a team environment
• Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred
• Experience in the Dry bulk or fertilizer markets
• Foreign language(s)
• Dry bulk barge / vessel logistics experience
• Master’s Degree
