"Director, Business Development, Medical Devices Salary range: $150,00 to $180,000 Locations: Boston, MA; Minneapolis, MN; San Francisco In addition to base salary, bonus structures and an equity position will bring a smile to your face. Don?t relocate either; stay where you are. There will be travel though. Or relocate if you choose to. Preference would be no to relocation. Near Philadelphia is their location. Company has long term financing in place and cash in the bank. A small device company with very unique and leading edge technologies has already licensed product to a large NYSE device company. They have cash flow, additional technology, and superb people. Now it?s time to create a business strategy for other uses of their technology; figure out markets that make sense; and the best way to be successful in those new markets. There is still much to do in the cardiovascular device sector. Your role is to build the business; create new market strategies; the competitive plans; build relationships with possible partners; negotiate; and for sure sell your ideas on direction inside and to the Board. The big device companies have issues; why not bring what you?ve learned there to a new environment and build something yourself? Requirements:* MBA preferred; competitively aggressive, high energy, strong work ethic. Entrepreneurial mind set. Portfolio experiences.* At least 10 year?s of increasingly complex business development strategy creation in medical devices with some sense of globality.* The ideal background would include deal sheets and evidence of how all of that process happened.
