SUMMARY:
This position will be located in the Lancaster General Research Institute and support research across the organization, but predominantly the Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The primary role will be to facilitate the many studies, data collection, analyses and reports required for academic institutions in conjunction with the Evaluation Committee. They will also provide research support and serve as a liaison for faculty and students in the College. In addition, they will play a key role in designing and conducting research in conjunction with College faculty/staff, physicians and other staff within the Lancaster General system.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Master's degree in higher education, social or educational research, public health or a related field. Expertise in relevant research designs, methods, statistical analyses and interpretations. Skills in applying quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to a wide variety of research questions. Possess excellent technical skills and database knowledge with ability to extract data using query language. Ability to present statistical data and conclusions to a variety of audiences in an accessible manner. Strong oral and written communication, data presentation, and organization skills. Experienced with office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Work cooperatively and independently. Highly developed critical thinking including sophisticated quantitative and analytical skills.
