Position Overview:
The Patient Care Clerical Technician (PCCT) greets assists and directs patients and visitors for the department. Processes patient care orders documentation and requests for services thru accurate computer order entry as well as phone and voice communication. Assists the professional nursing care staff by performing routine and delegated procedures under direct supervision.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Completion of an approved Nurse Assistant Program.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous hospital experience preferred. Ability to sort organize and file are required. Public relations medical terminology and computer order entry experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
CNA required.
