JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION OVERVIEW:
The staff nurse is a professional care-giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients in accordance with the standards via, the nursing process, the environment, instrumentation and other health team members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a School of Nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
None required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/ REGISTRATION:
Current licensure in Kansas. Graduate Nurses are required to provide an official transcript from the school stating date of graduation and must become licensed within 120 days of graduation date.
