Position Overview:
Assists in the delivery of therapeutic interventions under direct supervision. Maintains clean and orderly work environment. Maintains inventory. Monitors equipment for safety and cleanliness and reports or arranges for needed repairs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES JOB DUTIES AND PROJECTS:
1. Maintains cleanliness in patient care areas in accordance with departmental and infection control guidelines.
2. Inventories supplies and order materials on a regular basis
3. Monitors equipment for safety and cleanliness and reports or arranges for needed repairs
4. Provides therapeutic interventions under direct supervision
5. Prepares treatment areas equipment and patient for treatment
6. Effectively communicates with other team members in order to coordinate patient care
7. Maintains statistics and assists with charges
8. Maintains annual competencies.
9. Demonstrates and promotes being a good team member as displayed by flexibility willingness to assist in different departmental service areas and showing respect and cooperation with all departments and individuals
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. College courses and biology preferred.
Experience Requirements:
One year relevant experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/ REGISTRATION:
Current CPR or receipt of certification within 1 month of hire date.
