POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the delivery of quality oncology/hematology patient care. Conducts professional services under the medical direction of a collaborative practice physician.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an Accredited school of Nursing. Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse, and completion of Nurse Practitioner program. Certified as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN or AOCN).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum five years experience as a registered nurse and one as an ARNP, with at least two years in oncology.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Kansas State Board of Nursing License required as an ARNP and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN or AOCN) required.
