Position Overview:
The Emergency Department Staff Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients during a designated time frame and provides care to these patients in accordance with the standards via the nursing process the environment and other health team members.
Education Requirements:
Graduate from a School of Nursing (A.D.N. Diploma or BSN).
Experience Requirements:
Minimum one year of working in an Emergency Department or Intensive Care Setting.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/ REGISTRATION:
Current Kansas licensure as an RN. ACLS PALS and TNCC preferred but must be attained within one year of date of hire.
