JOB OVEVIEW: Twenty-four hour responsibility for patient care services provided to patients on Women’s Services Department including supervision of personnel. Also responsible for coordinating patient care services with other departments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from a school of nursing. BSN required. Advanced education in clinical nursing practice and/or management desirable.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Four (4) years as staff nurse. Management experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Licensed by the Board of Nursing. NRP, (NALS), ACLS and AWON fetal monitoring. Specialty Certification encouraged
