Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Education/Infection Control is responsible for providing diabetic and other patient education for patients of all ages and their family members.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN). Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) preferred. Must attain CDE in 3 years.
Experience Requirements:
Two years clinical experience in an acute care setting required. Diabetic education experience desirable.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Licensed by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
