JOB DESCRIPTION:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs dietetic tasks.
Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service.
Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prefer some health care facility experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must be able to speak, read, and write English and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to maintain accurate records and learn basic computer operations. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients and other customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and be able to lift, push, bend and carry loads of up to 50 pounds. Requires sufficient dexterity to handle dishes, trays and other equipment safely. Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.
