Electrical Component Technician
Job Location: Dayton, OH
Shift:
3-4 months
Summary:
We are searching for an Electronic Component Technician that can initiate, document, and complete information gathering for component parts associated with industrial and commercial printing equipment. Elements of required understanding include certification relationships associated with buy components such as RoHS and TUV, or other like agencies that review electro-mechanical hardware. Written and verbal communication skills are paramount. Understanding of web applications, database management, spreadsheets, ASME and ISO standards, and MRP systems is required. A firm technical background is necessary as successful will collaboratively with engineers, designers, and technicians. The successful candidate will need a service mentality and posses a background working in team environments.
PRIORITIZED SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Firm understanding of electro-mechanical devices
* Superior written, verbal communication, and personal relationship skills
* Spreadsheet and database management
* Working knowledge with standards like: ANSI, ASME, ISO, RoHS, and TUV
* Understanding of mechanical and electrical documentation (blue print reading) and release practices
* Cad or equivalent experience is a plus
* Working with Microsoft Access Development is a plus
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL
AS or AAS degree
EDUCATION MAJOR
Mechanical or Electrical major 5 years experience required
