Job Description:
There is currently an opening in the Southwest Ohio area for a CAD Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will maintain and improve CAD/CAM/CAE insuring system stability both now and in the future.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Maintain and improve all CAD/CAM/CAE systems to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of our Engineering computer systems. Including all network, hardware, software, file maintenance/retrieval, printing support and all security requirements to meet current demands and future needs. Will be responsible for the administration and coordination of outside support contracts as it may relate to our systems Keeping abreast of cutting edge technologies and industry trends as it pertains to advances in CAD/CAM/CAE through attending seminars, technical journals, etc.
Qualified candidates must have prior experience using Solidworks PDM Enterprise, (a Bachelors Degree is preferred) with 3 years experience or equivalent. Must also have prior experience with administering, installing and configuring Computer Aided Engineering & Manufacturing applications, 3D solid modeling & drafting, and CAD data management in a global capacity. Experience working in Product Development, Design, Drafting or Document Control in a manufacturing environment is required.
